I’ll say what we’re all thinking: Really, Declan?

I think I’m missing something. Why are we thinking “Really, Declan?”
It is probably still obvious to normal people. I have Asperger’s so I don’t always make the same connections with people’s speech and body language.
its because Declan didnt take the mask disregarding his own safety. which when writing something like a film, comic, or literary work means “thats going to come up later” and it wont be pretty.
Oh, I assumed it was some sort of interpersonal character interaction thing, not a plot foreshadowing thing.
But yeah, I noticed the lack of safety gear, unsupervised androids who’ve grown since baseline, automated assembly of androids, lack of onsite manufacturing capability / necessity of deliveries, and the planet’s hostile natural environment provide plenty of opportunities to make their lives very interesting.
